Yes a new thread.

Each day I will bring a new word to the boards.

Today's is TENESMUS - 'continual inclination to evacuate the bowels or bladder accompanied by painful straining'

£40 to the first person who can introduce it into conversation in their work place.

Done

I 'work' from home though so just used it the sentence

'Ha I just made £40 by saying tenesmus to my coffee mug'

Edit : does it count as a conversation if there's no answer back? An example would be a mute work colleague... or a kinder surprise toy.

In fact my proper title is Lord Steven Lexington Smythe III of Barnsley,or lord smythe of Berneslai to our latin friends.

I would imagine Tenesmus is rather uncomfortable on the ring.

very clever Jemma

wasnt there a cancer charity who would knock on the door and beg with raffle tickets called Tenemous? Tenevous? or something close

nearly forgot you ask Mr Jarvis about his colonic irrigation experience. he descibed it exactly as the meaning of this word. He said it was to quote 'very refreshing and would recommend it to anyone' too much money that boy i think. i certainly would not entain a pressure washer inserted into my bot but perhaps I am a prude and should have more adventure
