I think it's among his best work. There has to be somebody else here that likes both New Order and LL Cool J..........

I need love was a fantastic record but listening to it again sent me into a cold sweat.
years ago i was at a really posh works dinner and dance awards bash. I really fancied a girl I worked with Donna. We had a proper smooch to this one and for a few minutes i thought I might have chance.
her mate then came running onto the dance floor and tapped her on the shoulder. she then ran off to the loo in tears.
My watch had caught on her ball dress and for the last three minutes her dress had been hoisted up and she was showing her latest stockings and brief set. All the lads were thanking me for the show, she did not speak to me again that night and I went home with my pleasure zone once again.
can not believe it was 21 years ago either
LOL! That video is great. 80s Melodrama at it's cheesiest!
Has LL's new song "Baby" hit overseas yet? He's also rapping to a lady, but it's not quite as sensual and innocent as "I Need Love"
"Drunk as a skunk, feelin all dirty/Truck stop bathroom 7:30"
Sounds like he just needs sex now! Love the album though!

Honestly haven't heard much new stuff from LL since the 14 Shots album over a decade ago so I'll check it out soon, but I loved all of his stuff prior to that. Plus, I always got a laugh about that stupid beef that Kool Moe Dee had with him for "biting" his style. Jealous indeed.

True Kool Moe had one speed but when he hit it-his flow was impressive. His diss of LL was cause well Kool Moe's chart status was starting to tank(if it was not there already)
But on this....

you know what's funny......with all respect to Rakim because he is a great, some people still question who really won that feud.....Kool Moe Dee fell out of the public eye by the early 90s, while LL's new album just debuted at #9 on the billboard charts. I think by that alone it's obvious who won that battle!
