The makeup look really isn't becoming for him anymore... I think he needs to finally wash it off and fix the hair a new way... it just looks awful anymore...
Not sure what the big deal is on his complainin though. Finally an artist admits publicly that music is overpriced, gives a better arguement if one gets snabbed for downloading "illegally"
i'm not a cure hater but god he looks awful. I remember when he had a buzz cut and he should go back to that. Makeup on men in their 50's is a no-no.

The actual EP isn't that bad. They're better than the actual singles, which are Cure by numbers.
And yes, Fat Bobby needs to cut down on the makeup now.
Could use a haircut and a scrub. Cure w/ out keys works so well. By any standards time alone, they've earned their Stripes. Can't stand DM for anything more than a choon but Cure is very flash.

Years ago I worked with a totally crazy woman named Lelani. She never would be seen in public (far as I know) without wearing that white pancake makeup, the red lipstick, and eye makeup, no matter how absurd or bad she looked. She looked like a really ugly stereotypical drag queen, I know that sounds mean, but she was freaky at best to kinda hideous. She was called the "worlds' ugliest chick" (or The WUC for short) by the bar doormen back in the 80s. She was pretty crazy, she used to threaten people to fights all the time over simple things, she would talk to people and not care if people had any idea what she was talking about, Lelani scared people. She would not take off her makeup even to get employment. The makeup was a mask that she could never take off, she could not function without her mask.
Robert Smith reminds me of that, he has become a parody of himself, he can't be seen in public without the makeup and hair. He probably is ashamed of how he looks, and hides behind the facade. He wishes he had killed himself years ago like Ian, Bob feels pity for himself.

I'm not keen on The Cure's music, but think... what if Barney, Hooky, Steve and Gillian (and Phil) had laid into their record label publicly for cocking things up?
Okay, there'd be fewer subjects for people here to constantly bitch and whinge about, but if London/Warner et al had taken notice, it might have made a difference.
Fat Bob may be a make-up smeared, balding cnut in general, but fair play to him for having a 'go' at the label publicly and getting fans to ignore rip offs like iTunes.

cure at the years of (maybe new order best days) 79-85 where ace!!.cure were ace until late 84,then i wasnt impressed..disinteragration album made them back up there around 1990.cure last 10 years are shite.but they did enough to be a classic group in our time before that shite..can anyone claim to not like ANY single cure record ??
