I never listen to a song and think'Oh,now I want to drive'

But tunage is essential whilst driving,definitely. Driving is just shit boring without it..

Errrmmm, not sure what the definition of a driving song is, but I hope its not referring to those dreadful K-TEL soft-rock compilations of the late 70's/early 80's.

Mine are here on the basis that they make me drive faster and attempt ridiculously aggressive overtaking manoeuvres on the Old Kent Road whilst bashing the steering wheel rhymically. And they do change frequently.

I wouldn't recommend driving whilst listening to music, but the Easter Sunday of 1995 provided the perfect setting for the Simple Minds album Real Life. No cars on the road in south Wales, just my brother driving me back to my father's house.

no top 5 as such, but i do have a penchant for power ballads and 80s pop at full blast, windows down, singing my little heart out. 'nothing's gonna stop us now' by starship is a good one. also 'video killed the radio star' and 'together in electric dreams'.

apparently my habit of skipping through cds and radio stations every three minutes in search of a decent track is desperately annoying.

My top 5 is no good top 5 because... it makes me drive faster than allowed...

• I change the playlist of the Jiphymobile each month, the playlist being a 18 tracks one (a C90 tape) with one track of the latest LPs I got.

Last Monday, I drove at 170 during M83 couleurs. The track is long... still, I have not been flashed on this 130 km/h motorway.

So many!! Anything by Kraftwerk,Durutti (anything chill out when you're in rush hour)
