This thread has been done before, and besides, apparently its 'Are we Human, or are we denser'.

Which is perhaps even more stupid.

Flowers should be shot.

For some weird reason, everytime I hear it I have the overwhelming urge to sing 'hamsters' - not Dancers

i thought the actual title was just 'human'? like the human league song.

the lyric IS dancer, not denser - apparently it's a reference to a disparaging HST quote about how america was raising a generation of dancers.

edit: hamsters is definitely better, kath. see also "i've got ham but i'm not a hamster"

I haven't heard this tune yet - but I turned a corner with the killers when I woke up to 'read my lips' on wogan's show and, having not heard it before, dismissed it as a chris de burgh track. as melodically uninspiring as cdb and the vocal similarities are uncanny.

[perhaps we have the same middle age ears]

possibly mate, that said still no need for a remington ear hair thingy or turkish barbers brandishing naked flames:brow:

Burt, the more correct grammatical sentence is "more stupidier"... where's Nash when we need him:nonono:

By the way, I still haven't figured out what "I've got soul, but I'm not a soldier" means... figure it would only piss me off, but what the hell does it mean?:confused2:

i've got ham, but i'm not a hamster

NoBabe's avatar used to be 'Got minge, but I'm not a minger"

Which was nice.

I think it means that one has endurance, but doesn't have enough to last like a soldier. That lyric was used in an Olympic commercial, btw.
