ordered my tickets 
Ultravox are to tour the UK in April 2009 after an absence of 20 years. The tour, which will feature Ultravox's original 1980's line up of Midge Ure, Chris Cross, Warren Cann and Billy Currie, will perform 14 shows across the UK. Fans can look forward to the band performing material from all their albums, including Vienna, Rage in Eden and Quartet.

I'm gonna walk about with a big stiffy for the rest of the day; mentally enjoying a soapy hand job from Cheryl Baker while several other girls in dayglo makeup and ra-ra skirts rub themselves against me, rubbing their nipples against my pencil-thin moustache.
Any time I need to get rid of it, I just imagine Limahl's big daft grin.

think that was probably midge ure you saw, given ultravox have only played 1 acoustic set at whatever virgin radio are called now in the last 20 years...

Just checked, you're right, twas in fact Midge Ure. Playing a set made up almost entirely of ultravox material though. I suppose the only real difference between that gig and the tour is that the four old blokes at the back will look slightly different!
Interestingly, the incranation of Bucks Fizz who played numbered two burds and ONE bloke (Mike Nolan who I met later, don't ask!). He had to pull both the lasses skirts off at the same time during 'Making Your Mind Up'. Logistical nightmare. 
think there will be more differences than that you cheeky scamp, midge ure tends to play a lot of his solo stuff when he tours. have never been to one of those 80's tribute tour things & never will if i can help it so no idea how long & what they play then.
& there are only 4 members in ultravox, so it will be the three at the back.

i used to pretend mike nolan was my dad. (well, he was, just not THAT mike nolan...)
saw limahl a few years ago just before the 80s nostalgia boom. he was tremendous - happily belting out big hits by other people from the period as well and not arsily insisting on playing 'new solo material'.
but that pat sharp was doing a dj slot and i think he was DRUNK.
Got tickets t'other day off livenation, sad i know but im off on me tod, even seen Midge do an acoustic set to couple 100 bods. Blame me fatha mysel- who went to see em. (must have rubbed off) Lament
saville designed ( and delivered on time ) a stage set for them a few years back didn't he? got manc tckts for me and mrs garymac, seen midge ure live at the Lowry last time, very self effacing fella espesh with regards to surbobgeldolfs ego and live vocals wise bloody good the lad can hold a tune

Can I please state clearly, for the avoidance of doubt, that I was at this '80's Reunion Tour' in a working capacity. I find the concept woeful. However, I fail to see how it's that far removed from going to a stand alone gig by the likes of Ultravox, OMD or any other third-rate 80's also-rans.
For every 'Vienna' there's four 'Love's Great Adventure's'.
can i please state clearly, for the avoidance of doubt, that i was at this '80s weekender' at butlins, skegness, in a socialising capacity. it was, in fact, a hen party, during which i was forced to mix with thick and poor people who probably shop at morrison's and are unlikely to own even ONE specially imported limited edition coloured vinyl electro-indie 12" by an obscure scandinavian outfit.

Can I state that I WILLINGLY bought tickets for the Here and Now tour a few years ago, nothing wrong with that.

Speaking of outfits - mine was tiny. I was showing tons of flesh. I also got quite pissed and was smoking. I somehow managed not to get raped.

aye - monument, the video, has it. was documented in the saville exhibition.
& grahame these 80's reunion things, i never liked 90% of the bands on them first time round, but surely if you have 5 bands or more playing it's truncated sets of the singles & we all know that singles are not necessarily the best songs in a bands cannon
