Anyone doing owt charidee wise for Childrens in Need

Im having a sponsored 'See how many people a rather silly boy from Bristol can upset' day. 10p a slag off..

No really, at work we are allowed to wear a a t-shirt type thing instead of shirt & tie if we give a bin-lid (or should that be a bin-laden)to charidee. Anyway, just wondered if a t-shirt 'went' with slacks & shoes...i dont think so

my charity of choice is the Lifeboat Association and they get my regular donations, local kids charities get my support but the national soapstar/new record to plug telethon thing etc brings out the cynic in me. still to each their own etc and best o luck with your endeavours

Children and Need and Rememberence Day are both two parts of the same problem. Both are publicly acceptable token gestures that are a bit vulgar and in practise achieve comparatively little.

Its probably OK, its just I dont think watching an overweight newsreader dancing in a tutu particularly inspiring, its dumbing down of the worst kind.

Pretty much ditto (though as you may have noticed it takes fuck all to bring the cynic in me out). My donations to RNLI are a little self serving....with the amount of fishing I do, and the number of chimpanzees who ocassionally accompany me....it's only a matter of time.
