What do we think of them? Got the album today, and I have to admit it's fucking impressive (even with a few songs sounding like they've sampled their old Nintendo system). Also look the business live.

Far more impressive than the fucking Ting Tings.

Clearly letting the manager's little sister/drummer's floozie, be the lead vocalist was an error. Unless she sings on the second tune that is.....her shouting offended me really quickly, and in fact I hit "post reply" just to make it stop (yes, pause would have stopped it, but she'd still have been eating my bandwidth).

It really astounds me how many great pieces of music are destroyed by being inflicted with a vocal.

That is not a singing voice!

Either a hyena shreik, a mating ritual, or torture (on my ears)

EXACTLY I've heard shouty singing before, but she's just shouting, and has no talent for that either.

Sack her, get a chick who can sing, then I'll listen again.

Okay not everyone's style but I feel the need to demonstrate a woman who CAN sing. Brandi Carlile FWIW

Ahhh but if that were the case, we'd just LOVE little miss shouty pants. Whereas we now all prefer Barry Manilow and James Last.

much better! She shouts, keyboard player makes her sing with a vocoder....I see a future direction (other than getting a singer).
