Tikka on nan, no sauce no salad (means the cheap bastards stuff it with lettuce otherwise), from Spice Island. With all the fucking pills I'm on, my appetite is downright fucked, but somehow I can ALWAYS eat one of those. Actually went and bought 2 last night to keep one for breakfast (can't do THAT either if it's full of fucking leaves).

Nahh, being on nightshift, even when I'm off, I keep weird hours. I'd hardly eaten all week, coupla sandwiches each day, so I went down to get me 'bab and before I knew it, I'd ordered two. Necked one at teatime friday and the other about 6am saturday after a 25lap race at Silverstone on iRacing, against some irritatingly fast people (irritating cos loads of them was septics and I do NOT appreciate being beaten "at home" by a bunch of left-turners :D ).

I only have one regular guest, and she typically brings the food :D:D:D:D:D

the best bab house outside of rusholme is at the end of my street, chiken on naan with everything on, if on the curry mile, shazaan chiken kebab. my mate lives in cambridge and whenever we go to visit we have to bring kebab supplies, the bab house at the top of the street gives me uncooked chiken in sealed trays, naans and chile sauce, we get turned away from cambridge if we turn up empty handed:evil4:

What did they say? Do you need to be Dr Doolittle to understand?

Can't beat Falafels from various outlets in Amsterdam. There's a very good one near the flower market

favourite name for a kebab shop ( and sadly one of the worst kebabs I've had )

abrakebabra, up towards Parnell street Dublin

favourite kebab in London when going back to Euston Station, Dionysus near Centrepoint

any other kebab places, that is the ones near where I live; are experienced post piss up and would probably not warrant a more sober return.

However, with that in mind I reckon a Donner with chilli sauce, salad and lemon juice covers my five a day, post lager-shed.

I never ever buy anything from a bloke with a hotdog stand or them lads near the Festival Hall who are probably selling feckin conkers instead of chestnuts

Is there not an 'Abrakebabra' in every city? I've seen loads, actually thought it was a chain!

Best name for a takeaway place I saw was a curry house on the main street of Ballycastle, Northern Ireland called 'Paddystanis'.

Best name for a chinese I ever saw was the "Poo On Fook"

Chinese restuarants/ takeaways have some ace names how about about the Shirley Temple, a restaurant in Birmingham. If you don't fancy that you can always nip over for a Tung Hin.

there's one here called 'kebabies', which i always think is tremendously off-putting. puts me in mind of skewered, mewling infants.

I remember going to a gig in The Point in Dublin, and the highlight of the night was chilli taco fries from abrakebabra, the best bit was that half the folks I was with had eaten half their body weight in class A's so the merest act of me stuffing my gob turned their guts a treat.

Now if we're talking stupid names.....

There was one in Bangor called Kebabylon, another called The Kyber Pass (didn't take long for rhyming slang to kick in there). Some good chippie names too... Big Baps The Codfather (bound to be a few with that name). And my favourite, from East Belfast...... For Cod and Ulster. I've seen Chinese's called the Ming Inn and Ming Yee.
