Not THAT geeky most of them, but some are most amusing indeed. Has reminded me though, I better make sure Xsnow and Xpenguins are installed, 1st of Dec tomorrow, time to decorate the desktop......OK, penguins may not feature in most people's Chrimbo, but they're very Linux, very amusing and the clear the snow left by Xsnow off the top of my windows.
Xsnow is available for Faildows XP/Vista, but the author, while happy to give it away to his fellow penguinisi for free, wants a $10 shareware fee for the pain he suffered trying to get it to work on windows, not surprising considering the way windows handles it's desktop root window, and as such I reckon it'll cause trouble too.
