i think it is a wonderful name.it is, in fact, currently the number one choice for any mini nora that may come along.

anyone who disagrees, or says it just sounds like an adjective for being otter-like, is an idiot.

Sounds like you'd just want your kid beaten up at school. Might as well call them Weasel, or if a girl 'Beaver'.

Shame you are not into fruit, and you could call them 'Apple'. Oh wait, some floppy haired musically talentless c___ has done that before.

Ottley? Nice place, fuckin killer fish and chips....with that most impressive of Engerlish inventions....bits!

Otterly, is a SURNAME. calling kids surnames is a form of child abuse and I will report you if you dare inflict it on any potential nora Jnr!!!

As the Excellent Scots philosopher, Professor William Connolly said....there is nothing worse than overhearing..... "Campbell? Have you seen Findlay?" "yes, he's over there talking to Farquar"

Wanky,very, very Wanky.

Some fine ales were also taken that day, yes, but our particular mission was to climb that fook off hill that leads up to where you can see the airport.

There's always Ottershaw in Surrey....one of the first places to have it's population burned alive by the Martians in WotW.

I was going to mention that this afternoon. At least the child would have a potential advertising career, after years of being bullied at school.

It sounds like a name for a chinless wonder of the 19th century....to me, at least. :read:

well?

Well, it's just that I credited you with a little more class than that.

I always decry those who inflict their kids with shite names, but I just know that if the world ever has to bear the misfortune of me breeding, the little cunts will be called TB303, TARDIS, Fairlight, Moonwatcher....etc....etc.....etc

Isn't it something you try and avoid from conception?

Next you'll be selling them to child slavery, claiming it's 'character building'. :skeptic:

side tracking a bit here... question for the doc, or anyone else, but i bet he knows.

was Obi-Wan Kenobi named after the oberheim ob1 or was it the other way around, I'm sure I read many, many moons ago in sound on sound (with frank zappa on the front cover and an article on new orders brotherhood) that oberheim were first and lucas liked the sound of ob1

I'd not heard that one, but I think the movie would have come first.

I was at the South Lakes Zoo yesterday. I saw many an animal, but the most memorable, were the otters. If only, because they were greedy, noisy bastards.

I used to go to Bude (In Cornwall) to an otter sanctuary and they were silent, graceful creatures.

Yesterday, it was all...

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, WWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, WWWWAAAAAAAAAAA

So, on the strength of that, I vote Kill them all.

Oh.

Was that not the question?
