What's it like in your neck of the woods?
I woke this morning to a thick blanket of snow outside. Lovely, I thought. It then took me an hour to drive the mile to the motorway. Just before I hit the motorway, I received a call (hands free), telling me the heating was off at work and we could all have the day off 
I now have a whole day to do all the bits of jobs I've been meaning to get to before Christmas. Or I might just sit on my arse all day and mess about on here :)

I'm off work too,great innit? I've just had a nice lie in till 11am,warm as toast. I have to go out in a minute to pick me mam's dog up from a kennel in the countryside.Bet the snow is thicker inland,it always is.
Was planning on going toy shopping this afternoon,but someone has suggested a session! Decisions,decisons...I'm off all week! Hoorah!
I have so much shit to do,perhaps I need to delay the sesh until teatime-ish..

bloody cold though. thankfully the children are too old for me to feel any responsibility to play with it.

Wet and cold in London.
I'm doing Luton tonight for a game which was rescheduled from last month cos of facking snow (it was actually abandoned after just eight minutes!)
They've forecast -3 degrees tonight. I sorta hope the game's called off yet again! Brrrr.
feckin freezing on curry mile going home to marple for some proper snow and sledging hopefully tonight:D

74 F day and around 54 F nights... and yet my wife can still complain about "how cold it is"?

and the little un knew it 
wouldnt stop her carry on til her mother woke up,
then promptly crashed out!
Still on the shifts mate,though off til Jan, hopefully by then she'll be more settled.

Sam sent me a pic of the snow in Stoke this morning at 7.30am and you wouldn't think it was the same country

I've never seen it as thick and hard as it was this morning. I had to work really hard to bring it off. My whole arm was numb by the time I'd finished.
I'm going to get one of those aerosols. Spray on, a quick wipe and you're all done; how good is that?

At least you HAVE proper weather on the continent. Out here in the fuckin atlantic, all that changes from summer to winter is that hot humid rain changes to cold biting rain ;)
