That pile cream story is an old one, and is inaccurate.
It was actually Savlon cream, which I had put on some dry skin at the base of my spine. When she noticed that it had rubbed onto her face she joked that it would be good for her spots.

She was my 1st concert ever also, back in '96* and in my case Miami. 
She was alright.
*of course, at the time i attended that concert, in my case i was still trying to figure out my proper musical identity at age 12; between my stand in britrock and everyone else in the neighborhood's stand in rap, at the time, she was the common ground.

Well, a couple of mates of mine mashed up "Doctor Beat" with Mylo's "Drop The Pressure" which became a (intended cheesy!) hit... This, in turn, led to yet another Gloria Estefan/Miami Sound Machine Greatest Hits (with the mash-up tagged on the end of it)...
I think she released something solo in the meantime, but I can't be sure? :)
