Yup, Michael Schumacher was today hammered out of the Race of Champions by a NASCAR pilot.....who's name I knew about 30 seconds ago.....damn!
Anyway, not bad for the septics.
Especially after team USA soundly embasrrassed themselves in the Nation's Cup earlier in the day, with the Nascar geezer stalling on the line (not used to standing starts, bless), and the X-games Rally bloke doing a good job of wiping out the barriers at T1.

Unless they move it back to Stad de France for 2009 I think I'll be doing something very Engerlish....making a pilgrimage to Wemberly.
Highlight of the day was obviously hearing the MP4/23 INSIDE, with Hammo gunning it to death. Lewis also gave the big girl Hoy a lift round in the Merc/McRon SLR instead of racing him....gave his dad and his wee bro a run too. DC NEARLY won outright....but made a tit of himself by repeatedly binning the redbull F1, painted up in the colours of Wings For Life (a charity run by sid watkins and dietrich Materwatsit of Red Bull)....I think it's a cursed livery, he had it on the car in his last GP in Brazil, and lasted 1 and a half corners :(
