Which band is he in this week?
The problem with Marr these days is he moves around so much he never leaves any sort of indelible mark. I'm definitely a fan of the stuff he did with Mozzer and Bernard but his solo record (or The Healers) was deeply average and I really gave it a chance for months. The promised second album never materialised either, he must've lost interest or the record deal fell through.
Glad he's not reforming The Smiffs though... besides Morrissey's far too used to being his own little tyrannical attention seeking overlord, doubt he would be willing to share the attention.
I say that as a fan of Mozzer too 
I wer nivver that keen on Marr even when he were in t'Smiths. Aye, he had a couple of gud riffs here and there but u ad to werk bloody ard to 'ear em. Much prefer John Squire at his peak, his playing were much more immediate and affective.
I think it's wonderful how Marr has flitted around, placing his special brand of magic onto such a diverse range of work, both by established artists and emerging talent. He's managed to keep himself fresh, rather than going stale with one band, one sound.

I guess that's one way to look at it... the other way is that he can't form his own band and make any hits, so he attaches hmself to 'rising stars' in hopes to gain attention, but all his projects, for the most part end up falling flat...
