:\ohwell:

after putting Richard Matheson's "Twilight Zone" Scripts:v2: Vol2 into me Amazon wish list on the offchance that mrs GaryMac was short of ideas for a xmas pressie, AMAZON RECOMMENDS now feel I am in the market for a BaByliss 2099 Total Freedom 230 Cordless Straightener.

Why!!

Anyone else get strange and frankly totally unsuitable recommendations?

The Dark Knight I placed on me list has got me a hint that the book Cobain Unseen, is now absolutely vital to life at Chez Mac, again.... why?

A bit like when Youtube recommends a Cure video after a New Order one :evil4:

They even do it when they've built up a profile of a one-dimensional twat like me.

My recommendations are books by Lewis Hamilton, Michael Baron Von Cobblers, Martin Brundle, Murray Walker, and FEARNE BRITTEN.....WTF......maybe it's that half season she drove for mercedes in the FIA GT's?

that may explain the Fearne Britten gastic band diet scandal, the poor misguided C-leb's attempt to lose enough lard to get behind the wheel which clearly backfired.... or was she in some sort of menage a trois with Messrs Walker and Brundle:evil4:

N.B. The Daily Star will probably report the above as 'fact' in about three days time and quote 'un-named sources' with links to Hamilton, Von Cobblers, Brundle , Walker and Britten

It's either that or race teams are now gut-clamping the burger guzzling michelin men types. I mean what's the point spending £12M reducing some component's weight by 500g if the ballast...sorry, driver....goes and shoves his face in the trough and gains 3KG.

That trumps my previous best guess which was that Miss Britten was in fact a very "special friend" of a certain son-of-a-nazi.

(that one will give the sun something to run the day after the star runs yours).
