anybody else here like ryan adams?
one of my best mates is a MASSIVE fan of his solo stuff and his stuff with the cardinals... and he has really got me into it too. he really does have some great songs, and i think more people would like him if they went past the "oh he was the guy that covered wonderwall" phase.
my favourite song: fix it, off Cardinology.
FYI, Ryan Adams came from the same city I grew up in: Jacksonville, NC. We even both went to the same high school, only he dropped out and I graduated. Not surprisingly, the high school mascot is the cardinals.

My Dad has been a fan of his for many years and goes to see him on the regs, as does one of my brothers. Seen him a couple of times and think he is total genius.
So Alive is my fave song of his - just brings me alive, literally!
there's a guy that would have done a few amazing albums if he didn't insist on releasing so many & saved the best songs up...
lots of unreleased gems though - you checked out the bootlegs?
His name is too close to Bryan Adams, which makes me not want to hear his music. Stupid reason I will admit, but then i would prolly want to listen to the Fuck Buttons anyway.
I've probably listened to Cardinology more than anything else this year. Saw them open for Oasis about a month ago. check out his hilarious videoblogs and his Werewolph alter-ego at youtube.
