Stick a microphone next to the telly and remember to press start/stop on your tape machine at all the right times.
Everybody knows that, dur. ![]()

I've got very old cassettes of me introducing my favourite tv theme tunes that way.... "Harrrry O !" you can hear my nan snoring in the background.
I don't think she was at the reading or finsbury gigs so you might want a copy of my mp3s shugs (that's if you don't have them already)
mplayer dvd:// --dumpaudio > shugster.wav
Then chop it up in a wave editor, or you can get clever and do a frame-range to get songs individually.....eg (syntax may be wrong)...
mplayer dvd:// --range 800-5800 --dumpaudio > Crystal.wav or even, to get mp3s..... mplayer dvd:// --range 800-5800 --dumpaudio | lame -b 320 -o Crystal.mp3
As for doing it in DOS....ooooh, I dunno, I think there is a program that specifically does it, but it probably costs money or comes with spyware......yer safer with the tape deck and mic ![]()
Cheers Doc, but I managed to find the same programme Ally sent me ages ago.
If anyone wants it - it's been scanned and has no viruses, plus it has a list of serial keys ![]()
