Peter Hook got pissed off and said that New Order is no longer a band last winter. BARNEY (happy?), just to be difficult and disagreeable as always, says that New Order is just doing fine, as long as they don't tour, rerelease classic 80s stuff with due respect, make him write lyrics, or talk to each other.

Gillian's 80s solo album called Memoirs From the G-Spot is very rare, so rare that even mp3s are hard to find.

New Order have been playing kiss and make up for years, though Barneys dancing was the nail in the coffin this time. Fancy you could try to reconcile them, talking all dainty bout eachother in newer interviews, but what good would it do? Personally, i'll purchase a cd of just Steve drumming.

Kumusta amigo.

Have a listen to 'The Other Two' if you havent already. Also although NO are defunct, PSB's have a new album out soon :)

They are pretending to touch each other and smile... Phil has a nervous laugh as Barney ignores the other members. Peter looks like a schoolkid getting his picture taken with the "look i'm smiling" face. Steve is like "let's get this shit over with so I can leave".

Well Happy New to all and be safe where ever you might be. peace

In case you don't know......this IS the friendly welcome, we're all just knobheads.

People talking gibberish at you is what passes for an exchange of greeting pleasantries in these parts.

I think something like this should be writ large accross the sign-up page really.

Several online dictionaries under "Reprobate" simply have a link to this forum.

Seems to be that in America, Barney is known as Bernard and Hooky is known as Peter, very strange.

Anyway Welcome to the site Seb, get used to the sarcasm and be prepared for anybody east of Point Udall saying you don't know what irony is, c'mon you kept Bush in for eight years, you've got to know what irony is.

I think England has the loveliest women in the world (and some of the worst) but even better beer.

The city you're thinking of is Sheffield - where The Human League, Heaven 17 and BEF come from :thumb:

And if The Smiths ever re-form, I'll shit in a plastic teacup and send it to Jeff via courier. Bloody hope they don't! :nono:

Well maybe if they visited us a little more we'd get it straight. Three times in ten years is hard to say we know the chaps.

I don't do hissy fits, i'm too old. my bother went to see simple minds in the 80's then went to see a pub band in blackpool called shadey who did a couple of their songs, and said the pub band were much better!

Sheffield had some good clubs back in the 80's and 90's (it might still have but as i said, i'm too old!) but being from lancashire i didn't exactly get a warm reception. We're a right bunch of xenophobic bastards here.

Anyway big bens ringing, my wifes watching elton john and i'm sad enough to be writing on here!
