don't know if anyone's into live theatre on these boards, but if you were to get curious about it, you could do a lot worse than watching A View From The Bridge with Ken Stott and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio.
Watched it in preview on Saturday just gone (24th) and thought it absolutely superb, big fan of Arthur Miller anyway and I've seen a few versions of his work at Bolton Octagon and The Lowry Salford, but this production is in another class.
forget your Oliviers and the old legends Ken Stott is real class in this, support from Hayley Atwell and Gerard Monaco is excellent too
been a fan of Stotts since I seen him in The Boxer with Daniel Day Lewis, I really think he is going from strength to strength as a character actor as opposed to a 'star'
dear as fuck though for a ticket compared to our local theatres, West End prices pretty steep, but minor quibble, fookin good couple of hours all in all
