Little Hulton not nearly as rough as some folk pretend, basicaly an overspill area that dates back to the slum clearances/high rise housing failure in Salford.
Coniston Avenue where I was brought up was the home of Sean and Paul Ryder at one end and Chris Ecclestone at the other
Pat and Matt Carroll of Central Station Design were about five minutes walk away
Apparently some cunt out of a boyband called BBMak was brought up here too
That said some of the myth that the Ryders came up with about L.H is just that, a myth. Bez on the other hand was a Swinton lad who moved up this way, generally Bez's life in L.H/Walkden was as he described in his book
Telling bit of footage on t'internet when Paul Ryder does the Salford music tour with Barney's biographer, put right on the spot when faced with the mean streets of L.H
And all the lovely gardens and patios
Walkden next door to LH, where I now live not bad good n bad etc like everywhere really, bus to centre Manc 35 mins, train to same about 15. sorted
place I'd like to live Kilburn, North London
