I don't mind the tune so much as Noel Monobrow and his pronouncements that his band are going in a new direction.
Tht plus the fact that he'd sue the arse of anyone who paid homage to one of his own true originals

I get the impression Noel knew just how many notes to change to avoid a co-writing credit, or his lawyer did
George Michael stealing the rhythm, clapping and the tune of 'Close To Me' by The Cure for his single 'Faith' (even stole the name of a Cure album to use as the title!)
I'm not a huge Cure fan, but I wonder if George Michael ever had to pay them for the rip off?
