Fair play to his dad for talking him down and not panicking. A lot of parents would have had him to A&E. He's maybe had some field experience of his own.

Going private has some advantage over my last dentist I think

last visit was to University Dental Hospital M/CR, free treatment off the student body, but nowhere near as much of a buzz.
