The "Stolen" mix of "thieves", whose acquaintance I owe to the poster formerly known as Rocket Mick is quite good also. More recently the Felix Da House Cat reworkings of HTS improved on the original radio edit, methinks.
Rocket, Huntsman needs you at the other side, he wants to know whether Barney spouts smoke or something like that...most confusing.. but he threatens to torpedo your shoes...

Hated it at first, but it's one of those records that just grew & grew on me.
Other than that the obvious one would be the Temptation version on Substance

As for the best NO remix, it's the Shep Pettibone remix of Bizarre Love Triangle.

If you go in the news archives back to huumm, July 2001, you should see that it was one of our "gifts" for the NewOrderOnline.com v2.0 launch.
This remix was the idea of Sébastien (Ruined in a B) who asked some guy who is doing a lot of fan remixes of Tori Amos mostly, he did that remix with the Acid XPress software with thieves like us and theives like us nstrumental...
I'll let Sébastien talk more about it.

The first of the "NewOrderOnline Mixes", an EXCLUSIVE REMIX of Thieves Like Us, made by JohnB, at our request. This "Stolen Mix" of this old New Order favorite will certainly interest a lot of people. Speaking for ourselves, we think it's a very nice one. We'd like to jump on the occasion to thank JohnB for his time and efforts, and invite everyone to check out his other cool remixes of Tori Amos and Garbage, among others, at remix.inmyhead.net;

I actually started visiting this place around the time of the transition from Tempation to NOOL, but not having media capabilities in my computer 
I must have overlooked it.
Watching 'Q' Music channel and it's 'Madchester' week, and featured a new re-mix of 'Blue Monday' has it been re-released..? not too sure, could it be an old mix..?
