This is the best bit...

Another noted a lead that may have eluded the Sacramento police department. "Funny looking Time Trial Bike TTX 9.9," said the posting on the San Francisco-based advertising forum Craigslist. "$12,000 (Switzerland). Supposed to be one of a kind. Requirements for payment: 1. Must have cash in Euros. 2. Meet in a dark alley in China Town. Ask for Fabian Cancellara."

If he is such a stud, why does he need his own special one of a kind bike? He should get a fucking Schwinn, win with that, and show the world that he still has a ball.

And is that Lance quoted as saying ... "Wtf?!?". Doesn't he know he is a role model to kids? They should take away his sponsorships and condemn him on the floor of the senate for his potty mouth typing. :nono:

Totally agree. It must piss the less well-off riders off no end when he rocks up with his space-age bike and winged helmet. Don't see the difference between saving time this way and jacking his cock full of drugs before the race.

I were right about that saddle

Most of those guys have at least one custom bike.

Schumacher syndrome, amazingly good, possibly the best guy, but with the added advantage of far superior equipment (and in Schu's case, cheatin like fook).

At that level, none of those bikes are off the rack. And each of them has more than one bike, and more than one type of bike. The bike that was stolen from Armstrong is a TT (Time Trials ) bike, for example. Only good for one type of race.

The difference here is that Trek apparently built a one-off TT bike for Armstrong.

Armstrong's bike just recovered by Sacramento police.

In other news, some guy just won today's stage of the Tour, second day in a row.

Which is why Hoy chickened out of racing Lewis Hamilton. AND Hammo was only going to be in an incredibly slow McRon Merc SLR rather than his usual wheels. Numpty SAID he was scared of falling and hurting his wee self.....scared of being made a cunt of more like.
