Yes. Dismissed the song when i first heard it because i thought they were frickin lazy to just sound like New Order. But it's possibly my favourite from the album now.

Well the album is consistent, as opposed to the other albums, but then again, there aren't any radio-friendly 'killer' singles on it (e.g. 17, Blue Jeans, Destroy...), and they haven't got pretentious wanky male lead singers either.

If you go to see them live, its a slightly odd experience, in that the whole crowd consists of late 30's/40's male pervs (me included), or freaky fat goths, and they sound not like a band that plays together live not very often (even though they do). It's a bit like you've invaded their front room. I'll be invading Helen and Mira's front room again though, no doubt.

Actually, i just went thru a Ladytron half hour.

I'm going to dedicate this to someone. She knows who she is.

Listening to Burning Up off Velocifero the other day and that part around 3 minutes in when the song goes off into somewhere even wilder, i was picturing and just vividly imagining seeing the song played live with the combination of gig environment + alcohol + being just a few feet away from Helen and Mira = well, ahem :p

were a lot of non fat goth lesbians there when i saw them, so can add that steretype to your list as well

Seriously considering checking them out with The Faint in a month or so although The Faint's last album sucked.
