Rocket, I've just returned from the loft of ages and discovered I have the following coloured EGG samples:

1 Purple 1 Orange 1 Red 1 Black 1 Green

and 2 Blue

The 2 blues are a mystery which I'm hoping you can answer being the master on this subject. One is a slightly dark blue and the other is slightly lighter. Could this be a duplicate Micko? ... or could it in fact be the same single but with different print on? i.e. the colours faded.

If it is a dupo, and if your missing a bluey (not the ones you keep under the sofa) then your welcome to it.

I think these are the same and this is one of the TWO colours of the BRITISH releases i HAVE NOT got.The other one being a BROWN one.The only other BLUE one i have not got is the DARK BLUE Lettering on a LIGHT BLUE background ,the misprint one and a WHITE one.But these are not the ORIGINAL NINE i have been after from this country! Nice one HUNTSY there is a block of cheese and TWO turnips in it for YOU.  :cool2:

Thing is Rock, I've left it in the loft!

If you can hang on I'll grab it the next time I'm up ... okay?

One bluey has a sleeve inside the 7" cardboard cover, the other hasn't ... just the record. Most of the others are like this. Plain cardboard with blue print on top only, this is the right one Mick?

Where are all the others from? ... hyperspace?

Cheese now.

I always thought I had the brown one ... must have been a bad potato. Found 2 different PK 7" also, a 7" ltd. edition picture interview disk, 7" of Tea Leaves like Us (can't even remember them releasing this on 7" ... was pucker though, and gorgeous), acetate of BM/Thieves ... 2 Chrimbo flexis!, 7" of Temptation, a mad orange Dreams Never End 7"?, a BM '88 UK and US 7" release. Do you know the funny thing Mick, I kid you not when I turned the light on which was attached to an extension lead about 3 miles long ... a fucking moth was hovering above my collection!!! ... for a couple of seconds I thought it was you! (I knew it wasn't because it didn't trump)

Sorry i missed you HUNTSY i was washing my hair. Now the questions posed are very interesting. The inner sleeve i have NOT in any of MINE.There is at least one from ITALY which obviously is rare in BRITAIN and i have the odd ones from FRANCE which have NEW ORDER printed in the TOP LEFT HAND CORNER.Apparently with NO picture of the group and just a Yellow LOGO or whatever colour there was, this was NOT ENOUGH info for the countries with NEW ORDER( only a minority following ) only just breaking. The saga does go even deeper as various mis pressings and I think possible FAKES have been touted. But probably no one from FACTORY back then has any more ides than the good people on NOOL.I would be delighted if anyone else can shed more light into this debate. As it is i can only realisticly go for the original 9 colours ,and if that moth has not eaten it,i will shortly have 8.Just a brown one needed and then i can relax.Aprox 20 years in the making and i nearly have ONE of those "easy to collect" items. Then onto my next challenge. Getting another bloody job! :redhat: :cool2:
