First last week, now seeing them regularly. Other migrants Chiffchaff, willow warbler, House Martin, Ring Ouzel, Black Necked Grebe and Wheatear

One swallow doesn't make a summer you know!
Nothing too exotic darn sarf, pied wagtail, coal / great / blue tits and the afore mentioned nuthatch which is currently feeding young in the nest box at the bottom of the garden.
Oh and LOTS of sparrows, common and house variety.
Went to Minsmere start of last week and saw a Cetti's Warbler.
So, ner!
Oh, as well as all the usual suspects you don't see this far inland - Avocets, Snipes, Oystercatchers, Dunlins, the like.

YES...also the BUZZARDs are here.Plenty of woodpeckers and last few evenings my pet Fox has been round.I hope feeding it Tesco sausage rolls wont kill the creatures.I have also had a rather nice black pussy round.BLACKIE BOSWELL the FIRST which actually lives in the POSH detached house across the courtyard.I do enjoy the walks in the countryside and no chance of bumping into anything HORRIBLE like a JOBCENTRE.Mind you BILL ODDIe is a bloody menace.
