I'm an old man now and have pretty much "retired" from concert-going. But I think I'm taking my daughter to see Anberlin (opening for Taking Back Sunday) and perhaps Fall Out Boy next month.

Jane's Addiction/NIN in May and Depeche Mode in September. Other than that probably just local bands here and there...

I was mulling over how awesome that tour would be to see... and then I remembered that I did see that tour, back when it was called the first Lollapalooza. Just trim out the fat (I'm looking at you, Butthole Surfers) and you've got an awesome show on tap.

I currently have Doves 6/6 & Elbow on 8/4. Both are at 9:30 Club in DC

Just got Wilco on 7/8 at the Barns of Wolf Trap. An actual US National Park for the performing arts.

My step-daughter Hannah works at MR SCRUFF's coffee shop in Manchester's Northern Quarter,and she's been asked to go down and work in his refreshment tent. (Here hang on,let me read that back again... ). Apparently one of the Hartnoll brothers are DJ-ing in their tent over the weekend,so I've asked for plenty of piccies!

I'm going seeing Twisted Wheel tonight. They're doing an acoustic set in the small pub where they started out

Belladrum this weekend.

Pretty good lineup - Alabama 3, Editors and British Sea Power (boo!)

Hanging with the Headphone Posse. Will be a laugh.
