Due for a payoff next month so might see SAINT ETIENNE's FOXBASE ALPHA tour in Sheffield next month. See how much I've spent on little Monty, and see if there's any coffers on my Paypal for a Depeche ticket at MEN in December.

I would kill to go to that Saint Etienne gig.

I would kill for a Kraftwerk ticket! Not seen them since THE MIX tour years ago.And E-bay's asking silly prices at the moment.

tickets for MIF festival are 35quid

I'm an old man now and have pretty much "retired" from concert-going. But I think I'm taking my daughter to see Anberlin (opening for Taking Back Sunday) and perhaps Fall Out Boy next month.

Jane's Addiction/NIN in May and Depeche Mode in September. Other than that probably just local bands here and there...

I was mulling over how awesome that tour would be to see... and then I remembered that I did see that tour, back when it was called the first Lollapalooza. Just trim out the fat (I'm looking at you, Butthole Surfers) and you've got an awesome show on tap.

saw Ladytron Wednesday night...and it sucked donkey balls...

technical problems knocked them off the stage twice (or was it thrice) before they finally called it a night prematurely...

not the bands fault...oh...and I felt really old...

August:

7th-9th - Big Chill Festival, Eastnor

My step-daughter Hannah works at MR SCRUFF's coffee shop in Manchester's Northern Quarter, and she's been asked to go down and work in his refreshment tent. (Here hang on,let me read that back again... ). Apparently one of the Hartnoll brothers are DJ-ing in their tent over the weekend,so I've asked for plenty of piccies!
