I won't say this isn't funny, because it did make me smile - it's kinda cute... But "blasphemous"?!?

I mean - even if I wasn't an Atheist but a Christ I wouldn't think this to be actually be "blasphemous", give me a break!

Not that I believe in "blasphemy":- there's as much proof for a big man in the sky as there is for faries at the bottom of my garden, but... It's a good excuse to play a great song.
Or the true classic: at least lyrically, even if the tune leaves something to be desired.

Pretty sure that was taken from the film 'Even Dwarves Started Small' where a bunch of midgets take over a compound and go nuts. Fantastic film.

It's great to see The Shamen again, before they went shite. I've still got 'In Gorbachev We Trust' on vinyl somewhere, and remember them doing virtually a gig a month in Camden in 1990. Then, came the unfortunate 'skinnydipping episode' and then Mr C(___). The rest is history.
Mr wholehearted agreement. The FIRST time I ever seen a satellite receiver, I said "stick MTV on", for I had no idea it was actually wank, and the first thing I heard was that Will Sin Cannae Swim. There were still one or two good tunes in the early Mr Cunt period, but fuck me they nosedived. I rather like their early acid stuff, phorward and all. And their bonkers floyd-esque period (Drop, Strange Day Dreams), but "Gorby" is always my fave....."and we ask it in the spirit of Love".
Which reminds me, I've always been meaning to grab the remaster of the Gorby CD (it got reissued in 1999, so that's 10 years ago!)
Great band, and I seem to be one of the few that liked both En-Tact and Boss Drum, as well as Axis Mutatis/Arbor Bona Arbor Mala - some great stuff in that lot, including an Orbital collaboration on "Hear Me Oh My People" - fab...

En-tact is great, boss drum is a bit more hit and miss, a hit being the presence of Hillage on one track natch. THose later ones but.....hmmmmmm, no buys, can't hear the music for the Cunt, and it's all just mother earth babble.
Colin is certainly a lyrical genius, and most of his sentiments are spot on, particularly the two tunes I posted, truly laser-like in their aim.
