What response did you expect from your fatuous thread regarding education? It was nothing more than an attempt to stir up an argument. Had you posted a contentious statement with a valid argument which many would disagree with then you may have found someone to play with. Instead you make a post that was simply ridiculous and are now spitting your dummy because of the response.

I don't actually blame him James. The same thought stirred in my head to geet some action going on around here. Most threads are boring topics to begin with, and the thread answers are even worse. What we need is some nice discourse right now.

Regardless of what Sir Nicos says, the server is overloaded, and I can't help thinking it's cos it's sharing something with other sites (Nic insists it's not). BUT, you can get lightning fast ping times (open your start menu, select Run, type "command", when the dosbox pops up type "ping www.neworderonline.com"....you get answers not much longer than those you would get from any other site at a simillar physical distance (light travel time becomes a measurable factor, especially since the light in the backbone fibres travels about 1.5 times further than the physical distance because it's ricocheting from one wall of the "pipe" to the other, and a round trip of 18600 miles, for example, gets you 100ms just for the time the light takes, discounting the switching/routing times etc.). But ask the server to actually process a request and .................................................... ....................................................... ....................................................... ...............
