I could listen to Tracey-Ann from Camera Obscura sing the takeaway menu from the Ho Wah on Kilmarnock Rd and still be enthralled.

Oh, and Hope Sandoval. She's another. Voice like she's been gargling liquid valium. New solo LP later this year and a Mazzy Star record due in 2010. Never thought the latter would happen. Makes New Order look like workaholics.

I'm so overjoyed it almost makes me forgive her for allowing "Into Dust" to feature in an advertisement currently playing on UK television networks. Almost.
