What are your experiences of that airport? I especially liked the cowbell sounds on the tram to the terminal. The ladies at the check-in desk were very polite and friendly too. Weather was shit though. The decor was alright, s'pose.

That's mad isn't it?!
My abiding recent memory of Zurich is not the airport, but the journey there. I was slightly late for my flight and didn't realise that the dual carriageway from Konstanz had speed cameras, until one flashed obviously.
I got a the ticket about a month later, that showed that I was 6 kph over the limit. The fine was 180CHF (about £90) and the only way I could pay was with an international money order, which cost an additional £20 to process.
Talk about the punishment not fitting the crime...
No experience of Zurich airport. Changi is great as are Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong.Candidates for worst, Aktau in Kazakhstan (a shed in the steppe) and Domodedyva in Moscow before it was refurbished.

The tram to the departure gate i meant to say. Think there was cow moos too if i recall correctly ![]()
I knew what you meant.
Also the technique of having that flicker book idea of static pictures that 'move' as the train passes is clever.
If only they'd put as much thought into making the customs queue move a bit faster...
