I think they're introducing Jamie later on.
It would've been a bit much for Rebecca Front's character having both him and Tucker swearing in unison at her!

what did you make of the new minister? is it too early to say? nice to have a woman in the role, but i wasn't bowled over. chris langham and tom hollander are hard acts to follow...
She held her own I think. I didn't think much of Tom Hollander's minister in the film (can't even remember the character's name) as I thought he'd been painted a bit too deliberately dim and bar the odd snippet of wit he was mostly just a mouse to be torn apart by Malcolm and the Yanks. Abbot was much better.
Front did a good job 
looking very promising.
They were always going to be able to get away with more on television than in a film... the film while very good is totally trounced by the Xmas specials from a few years ago in my opinion.
