While we're on the subject of facial hair, has anyone on here ever grew a muzzy/beard/both?
Becky?..Jem?...Kath?...
i think all men should absolutely grow a big proper beard at least once, if they can. i'm personally very fond of a beard (or a faceful of scratchy stubble), which is partly the fault of guy garvey and partly because it's so fucking manly. for god's sake don't twat about with a goatee or a moustache or anything that requires 'grooming'. that defeats the object.
oooh, look! i'm sexist.
I haven't been clean-shaven since I was in my teens. As such, I can say with some authority that shaving is for gayers.

George Michael hasn't been clean shaven for years as well.
Anyway - you were saying... ![]()

I take your point, mate. But George's scrotum and anal region are totally hair free.
Real men don't wax.
you will end up putting the same amonut of time & effort into doing your beard as you would shaving every morning...i should know![]()

see....I was confused...I thought gringo was what da Mexicans called us crackers...so I couldn't see anything being called a Mexican style gringo...
come to think of it...I'm still baffled...nothing new there...
Shaving around the crack and crotch is a must for good hygiene and general cleanliness.
Dont grow a beard you will look like a bum

I've understand that a thorough all-over shave is a must if you want an eternal life surrounded by nubile virgins. After all, a prickly mush is going to wreak havoc on all that tender, virginal flesh.
What I want to know is: are said virgins shaven ravens?

Anyone ever had a shave with Aqueous cream?
You've got to try it once, leaves an incredidbly smooth finish and lovely moisturised skin after - doesn't lather though, so not much fun.
See also: King of Shaves. I really, really don't understand that stuff. It's like slime on your skin. Feels lovely after, natch, but I much prefer to see 'what' I'm shaving off (i.e. a lovely frothy gel) rather than second-guessing which bits I've missed.
Oh well, as you were.

Have you ever thought about writing erotica for a living, Al? You make the mindless daily tedium of shaving sound so damn sexy!!

It's a lucrative market, after all, and you could be NOOLs equivalent of this, er, 'housewives favourite':

Given that he is currently undisputed KING OF THE BEARD, surely a response from Ally would be appropriate at this juncture?

King of shaves stuff is good, I'm obviously not as excited about shaving as you, but if you can't see what needs shaving, it doesn't need shaving.

i bought some of this for an ex, to go with his poncey badger brush, and he didn't like the way it failed to froth either. i find the actual act of shaving fascinating too. i'm starting to think i might have some sort of fetish.
are badger brushes cruel? do they snatch the hair roughly from the badger's tummy or gently tickle it out?

I don't use any kind of brush, just rub the stuff in my face, shave, go to work, that's it.
shaving can be fascinating, it depends what you're shaving on who![]()

still troubled by a surfeit of facial fuzz, gaz? why not make next month 'movember' and combine a very worthy celebration of the moustache with slightly worthy fundraising for the prostate cancer charity?
you could grow a vikingy moustache. one of them with plaits.
incidentally, is tom selleck the only man ever to be moustachioed AND sexy? i can't think of one other example.
