in no particular order:

goldfrapp seventh tree fleet foxes fleet foxes the knife silent shout LCD soundsystem sound of silver the shins wincing the night away rilo kiley under the blacklight camera obscura let's get out of this country arcade fire funeral the killers hot fuss sigur ros takk modest mouse either good news for people who love bad news or the moon & antarctica. i haven't decided yet. beck sea change. maybe. guillemots through the windowpane paddy mcaloon i trawl the megahertz emily haines and the soft skeleton knives don't have your back

more to come.

geographically, romantically, professionally, am ending the decade pretty much where i started. just older, wiser, fatter and with slightly better furniture.

there's certainly more than one album that's sneaked into my list under that auspice. although i only have UTB and more adventurous by RK anyway. is that shockingly remiss of me?

well more adventurous is my personal favourite, UTB my least of theirs - there are only two others; the execution of all things (great) take offs and landings (not so great but beats UTB) mind you if you prefer UTB to more adventurous our tastes are obviously different anyway!

My totally random clutch of 20:
