Jesus Christ. Bit of a bad week for minor Brit pop-cultural icons. As if passing in your mid-40s wasn't bad enough, the poor bastard's departure is blighted by a 'tribute' from well know vacuous bell-end Zane Lowe.

I think we'd all agree Derek deserved better.
