Apart from that crap Xfactor style programme, what has he actually been doing for the last 7 years?!

i managed to get tickets for the second night it'll be the 3rd time i've seen him,my daughter loved his children in need video too which made me smile:D
Has to be said that both series of Phoenix Nights are absolutely brilliant. Would much rather see him do a proper third series of that. Max and Paddy had its moments but paled a bit in comparison to the original.
I read somewhere a couple of years ago that Kay is apparently pretty much estranged from the old PN writing team (Neil Fitzmaurice and Dave Spikey). If it's still true then that's a shame. It's obvious the real magic of that show came from the three of them writing together.
Apparently Kay says he's already written a third series (by himself) but if Spikey/Fitzmaurice aren't co-writing then I doubt they would be reappearing as their characters which in turn would be like the show losing a limb.
He has been down the local Asda shouting garlic bread over the Tannoy and helping the meet and greeters...
