Have talked to a few peeps to try and get another piss up sorted in London:D

I've spoken to Liv, Johnny Giles, Joe Pesi's dad and ID, who are up fer a swally:nod:

Haven't got Jarvo's, Timbo's, Jimbo's.....etc phone numbers

Who's up fer a night out in London? In 2 or 3 Saturday's time? The more the merrier - guaranteed to be a great craic!

One of the London lot can sort out the details, everyone knows how lazy I am:nod:

The Chandos is a good possibility fer a meeting place - would love to visit Jeff The Chef's "Stairway to oblivion":evil4:

Would appreciate a copy of the Homage CD's - I'll pay in cash or beer....your choice:D

SHUG"LL FIX IT FOR YOU AND YOU AND LA LA LA;)

Hello matey:D

Just save yer money fer the New Year's Eve party - it'll be worth it dudely:nod:

Don't worry, I'll keep you posted about all the happening's of the night, but, as you know, my memory's not too shit hot - so you'll probably have to rely on Liv and co fer what actually happened:evil4:

Look forward to meeting up soon fer a beer - ye can even bring that lovely missus of yours.....but more than likely she'd be a bit scared:evil4:

Put it like this - in just around a week from now it's time to play the good old supportive rock (for the benefit of wor lass) ageen - cos that's when our second bairn is due - and from that point onwards you'll be hearing less of yer favourite Newky boy as all the wonderful chores of fatherhood's second wind will surely beckon..... I can't wait.... but ta be honest wiv yee - ah'm terrified as well.... Ne'er mind the sleepless nights I've been havin' the past few weeks ... ;)

i had to go to the doctors recently as my, ahem, member was turning orange. he asked me if d changed my diet & I said no, then he asked if i had been drinking anything different & i said no. perhaps i had come into chemicals at work or somewhere? again i said no. i knew this as i had spent the previous week sitting at home eating quavers & watching porn films.

Surely the Bank Hol's but a week on Saturday, no? :skeptic: Not two weeks?

Sadly, not around for the 24th - off to the seaside for a wedding & knees-up.

Would prefer the 31st...

Make it the 31st - we've all been paid then !

Another vote for the 31st.

Up in Brum on both the 24th & 31st for footy. 24th is a 5.30pm kick-off so would be struggling to get back in time, 31st is a midday kick-off so fits in perfectly. Only problem is, either me or Mickey Way could be on a downer :(.

Where does everybody fancy meeting up? I'll cast the first vote fer The Chandos - fer anyone who doesnae know where it is....it's a 2 minute walk from Trafalgar Sq. Great craic there the last time (I think....was a wee bit pissed:lol: ) Anyone else up fer that, or do you's have other suggestions?

Nah mate - I'll save it fer you making an appearance at New Years:thumb:

My favourite party trick is getting people to gie me a piggy back (kinda like a fireman's lift...to our continental pals) then proceeding to stagger 10 or 15 feet, then go fucking flying:nonono: The last time this wee party trick occurred was last Saturday, I was pissed (aye - again) so I talked me mate Mark (who was also really pissed) into giving me a lift up the road from the pub (you's all know how lazy I am:lol: ) Daft bastard got across the road and 3 steps up the hill, before falling flat on his face with me on his back, I was in fucking agony on Sunday morning! but apparently we got a round of applause from all the people outside the pub who were waiting fer a taxi home:lol: As they say on Jackass....DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME:evil4:

Shug, Bank Holiday weekend is 24-26 this year. If it was 31st, then August Bank Holiday Monday would be in September!

Yours sincerely Pedantic Kez :D

31st August will be the 23rd anniversary of Joy Division playing at the Electric Ballroom in Camden for the first time. Pilgrimage anyone to the old site ? Nah, let's stay in the pub !

Hmmm. Electric Ballroom. Still populated by dodgy Goths of a Saturday afternoon. Some things never change.. .

Is it still there ? Fook it - it has to be done !!

Dodgy Goths in the arvo, but I think it turns into some sort of 'soul' thing in the evening, can't actually remember.

The Albaroni on Wardour Street, has been mooted by meself, Johnny G and Mickey Disco. And it's dead opposite Iain & Bunny's gaff. And it's in Soho, which offers the likes of ShugZV plenty of scope for after-hours dabbling.

The Electric Ballroom has its own website - the main club nites (and half of these on here are still doing the club booogie thing when the pubs shut) are Friday (alternative weird shit fancy dress look like a knob goth/indie gubbins) and Saturday (thud thud thud type mostly, with one floor offering 80s/90s cheese).

Me and a mate just been to the Elecy Ballroom to see Suede free courtesy of XFM. They were very good, if you like Suede.

I think I made an impression jumping like a loony down the front, as per usual.

the Elecy Ballroom is alright
