What kind of person steals something like this? It's a morbid kind of souvenir. Bit like Ian Curtis' headstone I suppose.
Auschwitz Sign Stolen

Baffling. It must have taken quite some planning to organise this, and what on earth are they going to do with it?
Someone stole the Factory sign from the gates of the Charles St offices recently, too.
I wonder if it's the same gang?

Indeed, be careful with newspapers. Some of them are politically charged and you have to read between the lines.

There's a MASSIVE market in WW2 Nazi memorabilia. There was a big thing in the Sunday Mail a couple of years ago about the Tayside Chief Inspector being one of the biggest collectors and buyers of the stuff in the global WW2 market. His private car number plate was some reference the the National Socialist Party too. Remarkably, he didn't see how this might be innapropriate!
Closer to home and only a few weeks ago was the theft of a bronze statue from Muirhead where my mate lives. It was erected in memory of the 47 miners who died in the Muirhead disaster

Poles working for a fascist Swede who intend to sell something in pieces to a Bristish fascist who will have to rebuild the thing at home...

Poles are already spending the time in a jail. What about the others?

It is always the little ones who pay...
And I was thinking of an interview I had read of mister IKEA. Buy materials in Poland, sell them as kits in Sweden and so on... knowing that the man was or still is nazi friendly...

Kamprad, that is. What a name....
:\ohwell:
Dunno if he still is a Nazi, but he never said he wasn't. And that's bad enough for me. Still, half our home is from IKEA.
