Anyone catch the first part of this "documentary" on BBC2 last night? It shifted uneasily between being occasionally quite interesting, sometimes a bit glib, but mostly utterly vacuous.
Which inadvertently sums up the decade quite well, I thought.

I thought girls were supposed to be able to multi-task?! As we were 3-0 up at half-time I turned down the radio and put on the TV, only returning to the former for the last 5-10mins for the now-standard Stoke Squeaky Bum Special.
Anyway, there are two episodes of said documentary left to go. If they don't mention the fact that global equilibrium has been restored since Stoke's return to the top flight I'm going to join the masses clammering for an end to the licence fee.
The noughties will be remembered for 3 things;
- Terrorism.
- Schleb obsessions.
- Reality TV.
Hardly the age of aquarius.
