Why not try a bit of experimentation?... grilled mushroom on top or thinly sliced jalapeno goes down a treat.

Christ - three posts in an no-one's yet made a crude allusion to smegma.

This site is going downhill rapidly.

It is when YOU can't provide such a comment.

I hate making cheese on toast, so adopted two cheats.....

  1. Toast 2 slices of bread in toaster, butter and apply cheese, then make them into a sarny and give it a couple of seconds in the microwave.

  2. Make a cheese sarny and "grill" it in a dry frying pan.

Cheese, ham and tomatoes. Salt and pepper.

Or;

Cheese, ham, banana and curry.

I'm coming round for tea mate, that sounds good, but can I have smoked cumbrian farmhouse cheese instead of blue cheese, I don't do mold!

A glass or 6 of Shiraz would go well with that too.

You're always welcome Jed.

As far as "partially toasting" is concerned - perhaps it would be better explained to the pedants by saying, "Very lightly toast the bread."

The whole thing takes no more than ten minutes.

What he said, but with a knob of butter and a bit of pepper on after it's toasted.

Hmmmm, I'm off to make one.
