It's 1983, Olivia Newton-John, Laura Branigan, and Xanadu all rolled into one - and that's a good thing!

It's very Ladyhawke.

Jury is still out. Sounds like it could be on the soundtrack to Flashdance.

hmm...Xanadu indeed! :love2:

Its ok,it might grow on me.

they were always doing their own thing which i liked about them, this is a bit too strightforward mainstream pop, which is abit of a shame,

i'll still go see them on tour, one of my favourite live acts to see.

Kind of get a sense Alison's/they're unsure what direction to take now. They could have done another Seventh Tree which in my opinion was far and and away their best album but they're too clever and sophisticated to do more of the same. This harking back to 83/84 era thing has been done to death a bit in music the last few years i feel though.

Still, will wait and see for the album.Could be alright.Still think they'll be great live anyway.

that original youtube has been taken down because of copyright but someone's put another up

I finally downloaded some Goldfrapp... holy crap she has a beautiful voice and some really great music. Surprised I knew little of this around here... but then again I do find out about music more on this site then anywhere else.

That I get my music news from NOOL or that I like Goldfrapp which screams closet gay all over*?

*note-I only have two PSB albums so this can't be the case
