Nah I think it's a fairly reasonable read Chris; I dipped in and out of an issue at work most lunchtimes and breaks. It's by no means time consuming unless you're literally tied up for each and every minute of every day 
I read it for the jokes and the stitching up of the rags. Street of Shame and the Victor Lewis-Smith column are my favourites. Can't say I give too much a shit about their approach social responsibility; it's just an interesting read for those who find the usual dailies and some of the broadsheets complete wank.
The day the Eye starts smugly preaching at people is the day it'll be finished.
