i saw wombles with my aunty supporting them at Exmouth in devon while on holiday in 1977. i am not taking the piss thats actually true

my mate pete at work saw them live, aged three and he said "they scared the shit out of me" because he was expecting little foot-high gremlin type things , but they were six foot tall shaggy Dr.Who monsters .

no,ive checked and it was 'wurzels' not wombles,i admit to be so so wrong :o

That's me going then - I haven't seen the Wombles since they popped into Perivale infants school back in the 70's.
