Well if none of the locals suggest anywhere else nearer the time, then why the hell not?

cos the gig is miles away. There's a great pub that serves Thai food nearby. We all went there for the Chems at the same place.

Mind you... I'm going were Jem's going, cos that's where the action is...

Can I just check - the first night announced was for the Saturday (27th Nov) and the Friday was only added for demand? Or is it the other way around? I'm pretty sure we're booked in for the Saturday but need to book my hotel and can't get hold of the person who booked.

I think the Saturday was the first one announced, which sold out in five minutes ish. Can't remember what ticket i have through 'Nicketmaster'.

Confirmed! Saturday - phew. Booked train tickets £22 each return - bargain (cheers Jerter) and hotel in Earls Court. Top one, nice one, sorted.

Yup, Saturday was the first night booked - I think I bought two tickets for the Saturday (one for Burt and one for me), and one for the Friday too (although not sure whether I'm going to that)...

I'll have to check my e-mail from way back then as the bastards still haven't sent the tickets... Swines! :p

Screamadelica is SOOOOOOOOOO bloody overrated.

Primal Scream have done far far better - like the blistering trilogy Vanishing Point / Xtrmntr / Evil Heat. Those three albums show the band at the height of their powers. They've really done nothing of worth since....

Erm.. kind of.

same thing happened in 2001, saw them at brixton academy, then they announced a full tour.

oh well, if it's any good, i can see it twice.

next up for 2011, a full Nirvana reunion tour (minus Kurt) to 'celebrate' the 20th anniversary of 'Nevermind'.

Who's in Latymers on the Friday then?

Isn't it Bert's 40TH Birfday that night?

I'm not doing the gig, I can't stand 'the Scream', but am meeting a couple of lads from West London so that seems as good a place for a beer as any over that side of town.

I'll be in the house by 7'ish, at the very latest.

Make mine a red duck curry.

Let's not worry about numbers, eh.

I won't be out on the Friday, as much as a pad thai sounds tempting. Saturday for me. Gonna get loaded etc.

See, I was told it was 'strictly Screamadelica'. Course, I heard that from somebody who's never been to a gig in his life.

If I hear 'Uptown' I will be happy girl

That setlist comes from a gig they did in Barcelona at the weekend, dunnit?

That wasn't billed as Screamadelica, so I'm not sure if it'll be the same.

EDIT: Ah shit, it was a Screamadelica gig! :banghead: Now all I need to do is listen to it on BBC6 on Friday and I might as well not bother!

any decent pubs in Kensington ? never explored that part of the world before.

It's looking like it's going to be alright, from Barca:

Can't wait, but the irony of Kevin Shields doing the remastering is not lost on me...his own remasters have now been delayed going on three years, plus, the man has no hearing thanks to being in one of the loudest bands ever.

What time are people meeting for a beer beforehand?
