This lot from Manchester appear to have slipped under the NOOL radar, yet appear to be gathering momentum Oasis style, with a mouthy lead singer to boot. Just got the second album, and it's a bit of an epic deluxe double album.
Opinions please....

I actually like their sound, and I'm looking forward to their next album, Falcon. (It'll be released in early March over here, and with bonus tracks.)
However, I do think a lot of their songs from their first album were a bit 'unpolished'...the songs weren't very long, and I can understand how some may have thought 'They're just another so-called lad's band from Manchester'.
Add that with a frontman named Liam...then you have the journos making ridiculous comparisons.
That being said, I don't think their first album was bad; just slightly unpolished.
I do like their new song 'Cross my heart and hope to fly'---the sound of it is absolutely close to the types of sounds that I like musically.
Some say they're shite; some like them. Some think they're mediocre.
But I just listen to whatever I like, you know?
