One of my absolute favourite bands of all time

Gonna be seeing them in Leeds on the tour in May... can't wait.

The post-reunion albums BEYOND and FARM have both completely blown me away... absolutely fucking awesome stuff. Such an awesome band.

Lou Barlow's new solo album is also awesome called GOODNIGHT UNKNOWN saw him live a couple of weeks ago in Manchester it was amazing :shades:

Dino Jr

oooof jack! yes dinosaur jr are magnificent and, JT, if you liked them in any era then you should still like them now they've not really changed or dropped in quality over the last 25 years I'm hoping to catch them at cambridge or shepherd's bush

I clearly remember a feature in the music press when "Feel the Pain" came out. The band were openly chuffed that the scribe thought the song sounded like New Order (it does, IMO). Cue a bizarre conversation where one member of Dinosaur Jnr. claims he'd heard that laughing boy Curtis topped himself because Hooky was shagging Debbie.

I'm not making this up.

Brand new pair of Samba's ruined before New Order came on at Reading 93, and I thought the Vikings were a bit mental in the ole mosh pit. Cunts.

As for the band, all I remember is they were fucking loud and shouted a lot. Just noise to me

Always a bit of a hit and miss affair on album, but they are a cracking live band. Saw them two years ago and my ears are still ringing.

I prefer J and Lou's hardcore band, Deep Wound.
