Edsel Records is going to release the first 2 albums by Rick Astley. Whenever You Need Somebody (1987) and Hold Me In Your Arms (1988). Both are 2 CD Deluxe Editions and are crammed with bonus material.

My sentiments exactly! Rick was perfect for that time period. Also, wish the sleeping CD single wasnt about 40 dollars =(, his best track imo.

Last I checked it was around 40 bucks new, now it's about 120 dollars.

Well DUH! We are on a New Order site, after all...but that doesn't mean I can't love shitty tinny pop music, too.

SAW was not a phenomenon in the US, because hair metal ruled the charts in the late 80's. It really was something different for those of us who loved dance pop.

I just hope they'll do an O.K. job on the 2 remasters. I like Edsel's Level 42 remasters of Guaranteed and Forever Now from last year. If it sounds like that, I'll be satisfied. The artwork was quite good also.

On the first pressing of the Guaranteed set, track 2-8 and 2-9 were the same mix (The King Mix Radio Version, 4:07min.), although they have different names. This was corrected later on. The discs have the same cat. number but on the corrected version the text printing on the left and right side of the disc is darker like the colour of the Level 42 logo on top. On the first "wrong" release this colour is much lighter.

Heck, I'll confess to liking some of Rick Astely's stuff.
