I've got a Twitter account for my music podcasts. People kept saying how you 'have to be on Twitter'.
For the most part though, it seems to be about as interesting as Facebook, most people seem to tweet things about the weather or the latest boybands, sometimes what they've had for their tea or the name of their new cat.
There are some good 'Tweeters' - mainly political, promoting music, events or occasionally there's something funny from TheOnion or similar.
I have noticed that Stephen Fry seems to be one of the few who are actually consistently interesting, but I haven't bothered posting there in ages.
If you like to study the minutae of people's lives and sometimes have a giggle at the idiocy of the world, it might be entertaining for a bit but other than that, it seems to be yet another internet 'fad' that will simply waste a few more minutes of your brief time on Earth.
I have a Twitter, but I'm really not the biggest Twit'aholic. I mean, I've had it for three years at least, and only got some... geez...

I use it frequently, but not extremely frequently. Some people send hundreds of tweets a day...me, not that much a day.
(Although sometimes I tweet more days than others.)

Yeah, I know I tweet in both languages---at first my page seems crazy with it's bilingual tweets, but it doesn't matter to me.
